Sorry for the lack or posts. Life is busy when you are trying to raise a toddler, take care of a husband, work and keep a house (which is not being kept very well). I am going to try to do better but no promises:)

Weekly Shopping Trip:D

Well I made trip to San Antonio today to do my "bargain/coupon" shopping today:) I love this day, expecially when my Hubby keeps Kadance for me...It's so much easier to shop without a 2yo running around:0)

As per the request of my wonderfully frugal sis in law Nichole http://www.nicholejordan.blogspot.com/. (who taught me everything I know about "couponing") I am going to go into detail about everything I got:)

First Off I hit Walgreens. I had said that I would NEVER shop at walgreens again (they just don't compare to CVS) but I had a $5 RR to use so I headed there first. I had planned on getting their Dove Shampoo BOGO and using a BOGO coupon, but of course they wouldn't let me...Stinkers!! But I still found some good deals.

Okay I can't seem to find my receipt so here goes from memeory...

The Fruitis Conditioner was on Clearance for 1.69 I had a coupon for $1 so my total .69 a bottle

Vive Pro Shampoo and Conditioner was on clearance for 2.19 I had a bogo coupon

2 things Foil on sale 2/$1

I also had to add a chapstick to use up all of my $5 RR

Total out of pocket .48 I think:)

Next was CVS....This was interesting. I had read the add wrong and thought the Infant Gas X also generated the $10 ECB's but I was wrong and it excluded it so I ask to return it. That was not a problem. The problem was the Cashier he was VERY nice, but he had to call the Manager 10 times by the time he gave me my refund, which was in cash even though I paid with ECB's. So I came out $13 ahead in CASH!!

Contrex water 1.49 (they only had one) -$1 coupon. If I buy one more I get $1 ECBs.

Benefiber Chewables 11.69 had a 2.00 coupon and it genereated $10 ECBs

For the Revlon deal get 10 when you spend $20. I got a nail polish, mascara and and eye shadow had 2.00 coupons for 3 but they wouldn't except one of them.

We have needed Brita refills for a while and since I had a LOT of ECBs to use up I got those no coupons no ECBs received 21.99

I also got some wet wipes for the car for .99 cause I thought I needed it for a filler turns out I needed quite a bit more...that's where the rest came in.

5 crystal Lites at .49 each

and 3 candy bars:)

okay I think that covers all of that.

Total out of pocket .63

(and don't forget they gave me that 13 in cash)

Next I went to Super target. (my new favorite store I think:))

1 box of Cuscus...It was on clearance and I was courios 1.42

Well it doesn't show my total before coupons on my receipt but I think it was around $43 and I paid ...Drum roll please

21.82 plus I got a $5 gift card:)

All and all I am pretty pleased with myself tonight!! Plus I still have a little over $30 in Grocery money left until next Wednesday! I have put myself on a $50 a week budget and I have stayed under that all but once. I LOVE doing this:)
